2021—
Branding + Social Media

Meadowlands Research &
Restoration Institute

In the summer of 2021, MRRI hired me as an intern to execute the deliverables accomplished with Visual Means. This opportunity allowed me to apply and expand my skills in digital marketing, content creation, and strategic communication, while contributing to the growth and visibility of MRRI's initiatives.

Programs used: Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign / Acrobat / Google Slides

The re-brand of the Meadowlands Research and Restoration Institute was in partnership with Visual Means — an advanced competitive Graphic Design elective at Rutgers University - Newark, in which faculty and students work together to collaborate with local and global researchers focusing on publicly engaged work, to conceive & provide various means to define, analyze, visualize and transform their research through design solutions.

My responsibilities involved presenting the brand strategy to key stakeholders, structuring a social media approach that was easily manageable for the team to sustain — which included designing templates for multiple platforms, and the implementation of the new brand across all applications. The goal was to make the brand feel more organized and approachable to an audience outside of a scientific community.

Collaborators: Kathleen Reyes / Joanna Januszkiewicz / Luis Reyes
