Virtual Exhibition Design + Curation
INTERTWINED: DESIGNING SYSTEMS FOR THE FUTURE WE WANT
A collaboration in designing a completely virtual installation, and curating 17 works for a student capstone exhibition.
Project Rolls: Lead Designer / Curator / Content Strategist
A simulated gallery floor plan and layout, virtual interior design & lighting, exhibition way finding system & content gathering were all executed by my myself, Shaneen Johnson, and Lisa Gaskins, under the instruction of Professor Chantal Fischzang, with production and development by Joseph Labib. We were tasked with collecting and organizing information from each exhibitor, curating their space, as well as designing the way finding system, integrating the exhibitions brand identity — designed by Emily Quast, and text descriptions that are on view within the virtual installation.
The Intertwined virtual exhibition received the 2021 Silver Design Award from W3 Awards.
